An activation to raise awareness for decaf coffee
Introduction
Swiss Water, a company innovating in clean coffee decaffeination , aims to build awareneess around thier technology for delicious decaf coffee.
The activation took the form of a fully branded pop-up café, inviting visitors to experience the quality of Swiss Water Process decaffeinated coffee firsthand.
Through immersive environmental design, custom packaging, and interactive storytelling, the space generated strong foot traffic and buzz while reinforcing Swiss Water’s position as a premium, chemical-free alternative in the coffee market.

Decaf coffee carries a long-standing stigma of being inferior in taste and quality. Swiss Water needed to not only shift perception, but also clearly communicate a relatively complex value proposition: a proprietary, chemical-free decaffeination process licensed by respected brands such as Blue Bottle Coffee.
The challenge was to translate this technical process into a compelling, accessible physical experience that would resonate with a design-savvy, trend-conscious Venice audience.
Solutions
The answer: create a vibrant, fully immersive pop-up café experience anchored in a custom visual identity system developed specifically for the activation.
A geometric, water-inspired pattern served as the core motif, abstractly referencing the Swiss Water Process while adding a bold, modern aesthetic.
To ground the space and add warmth, we introduced a large-format map printed on wood, blending tactile materiality with educational storytelling. The map highlighted partner locations where consumers could find Swiss Water Process coffee, turning the activation into both an experience and a discovery tool.
The result was a high-impact brand environment that successfully reframed decaf as premium, flavorful, and worth seeking out, driving engagement, awareness, and memorable in-person interactions.
